ON MAY 15TH SEA TRIALS WERE CONDUCTED AT THE
U-S NAVAL ACADEMY. PLEBES, OR FRESHMEN, GO THROUGH SEVERAL STATIONS SUCH AS THE OBSTICALE
COURSE.. “I’M STARTING TO HIT A WALL, BUT I’M FINEITS
NOT THAT BAD. I’LL GET OVER IT. I’VE GOT MY COMPANY TO GET ME THROUGH IT.” Petty Officer 3rd Class Shannon Burns Washington
D.C. SEA TRIALS LAST 14 HOURS AND ARE DESIGNED
TO MENTALLY AND PHYICALLY CHALLENGE PLEBES TEAMWORK SKILLS, REINFORCE LEADERSHIP AND
STRENGTHEN COMPANY BONDS. SEA TRIALS ARE A CULMINATION OF THEIR FRESHMEN YEAR. “IT MAKES ME FEEL GOOD , CAUSE I GET TO SEE
A LOT OF TEAM WORK THAT THEY BUILD UP THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, AND ITS REALLY AWESOME TO SEE HOW
