hey guys Luke here today I’m going to be
breaking some common open day myths you You don’t have to come to an open day but we do recommend it. Coming to see our campus will give you a good idea of what it’s like to live and study in Birmingham. You will also get a chance to see all of our amazing facilities and our tutors. There’s no specific dress code when it comes to an open day but just think smart casual as if you were going out for a meal with your friends. Of course loads of students do bring their parents to open days and it’s a great chance for them to see where you might be studying and the place you’ll be living. You’ll need your registration email or the text ready on your phone. Also have a rough idea of what you’re looking at studying so then you can plan your visit around that. Definitely, we have as many people coming alone as we do with people coming with family and friends. Our staff and student ambassadors are really friendly and always here to
help so BCU will feel like family in no time No question is a stupid question and now is a great chance to ask about where you will be studying and potentially living. Why not ask questions like how many plug sockets there are in the accommodation? Or what student ambassadors like to get up to in their spare time? What kind of bars and nightlife is available in Birmingham? And what kind of societies are available at BCU? Open day starts at 9:00AM and finishes at 3PM. The earlier you arrive the more you’ll get a chance to fit into your day. Take a look at your open day program and find out what you can fit in and how long it’ll take.
