Learn Why Charter College Works For Navy Veteran Ben

Back in October of 2006 I got out of the military. I had spent the last four years working for the government on the civilian side I am pretty educated in a lot of areas and I have a lot of good things on my resume but one of the things that I don’t have on my resume is a degree. I think Charter College is a great fit for people coming directly out of the military it keeps you focused. It doesn’t allow you to get sidetracked there is no opportunity for it the military is a very regimented situation. A lot of times going from that into a regular University type style school you have a fall-off because you have a lot of freedom. You have one or two classes a week and then after that it’s your free time and then you have summer and all these breaks in between and it gives you a lot of time to de-focus it’s interesting to be in a college where everybody is seems to have a purpose whether they are in the criminal justice or in the medical field or whatever it is that they’re doing everybody has something that they believe that they would like to do moving forward I see that being a lot like my experience in the military because we’re all in it for a common goal and that goal is to cross the finish line and to get us graduated so we can get out in the workforce and be productive in society today
