MSP Honors Military Veterans

I look at the State Police like I look
at the United States Marine Corps when I started my military career. I joined
the Marines because I thought they were the best and I came home after my enlistment and I joined the state police because I think we are the best. What you carry in the military you carry straight into the state police. I am a retired chief petty officer in the United States Navy with 22 years of service. I did about 12 and a half years active
duty and I became a federal law enforcement officer in the US Coast
Guard and that’s where I got my law
enforcement experience and decided that I really wanted to become
a police officer specifically a Maryland State Trooper I like helping others, I mean thats just plain and simple. I’m allowed to do that with the
Maryland state police and protect the citizens of the state of Maryland and do that more on a global scale with the United States army which allows me to serve my country To serve the state of Maryland and citizens as well so this is something that naturally attracted me. It’s the most rewarding home or rewarding position in the world why wouldn’t I want to serve home, the citizens of Maryland like I served
of the United States?
