Navy Announces New AC to RC program; Navy Calls for Recruit Division Commanders

BRANDIE WILLS WITH YOUR HEADLINES FROM AROUND THE FLEET. THE NAVY ANNOUNCED A NEW PROGRAM, NOVEMBER
5TH, TO ALLOW MORE FLEXIBILITY FOR ENLISTED SAILORS TRANSITIONING FROM ACTIVE DUTY OR
FULL TIME SUPPORT TO THE SELECTED RESERVE. THE NEW PROGRAM ALLOWS SAILORS TO DELAY IN-RATE
AFFILIATION WITH THE RESERVES FOR UP TO SIX MONTHS AFTER THEIR SOFT EXPIRATION OF ACTIVE
OBLIGATED SERVICE. FOR MORE INFORMATION SEE NAVADMIN 329/12. THE NAVY IS SEEKING HIGHLY MOTIVATED SAILORS
IN PAY GRADES E-5 AND ABOVE TO SERVE AS RECRUIT DIVISION COMMANDERS AT RECRUIT TRAINING COMMAND
