Hi, I’m Boatswain Mate Chief James S. Mickens and today with a little bit of help from my Boatswain Mates here we’re going to execute a Round-Turn, a Right-Lay, and also an A-Turn First, the initial point is to complete the Round-Turn. Once the round-turn is completed, the secondary round turn will be executed to the backbit and then onto the A-Turn. We’ll repeat this about three to four times. This is a standard Moor for the U.S. Navy. It can also be done with a smaller vessel, providing a Cleat, Bit or Bollard.
