Hi! I’m Catriona, he’s Loic and she’s Sasha, we’re your Study Buddies, and these are this month’s top tips. You’ll never know everything about your new home before you arrive in the UK, so we asked hundreds of students to give us their tips for settling in Here’s this month’s top 3 The UK is full of open
spaces, even if you live in the city you’re only minutes away from the trees and the park
or even just somewhere to take a breather, so turn your laptop off, pack a picnic and
get outside! Get used to apologising, a lot! It’s all part of the great British tradition
of politeness. They may not be as direct as you are, but if you want to fit in, just say
thank you, please, or if in doubt, just say sorry Sorry! Sorry. No, I’m sorry. No I’m
truly sorry. No I am! Finally, if you want to make friends, join a club or even start one of your own. You’ll find something for everyone, from football, to baking cakes,
and even the Harry Potter society! What do you think guys? Each to their own I guess…
