HOSTED A WORSHIP SERVICE OCTOBER 10TH IN ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND TO CELEBRATE THE 237TH BIRTHDAY OF
THE U-S NAVY. CHIEF OF NAVAL OPERATIONS, ADMIRAL JONATHAN
GREENERT AND MASTER CHIEF PETTY OFFICER OF THE NAVY, MIKE STEVENS, WERE AMONG THE DISTINGUISHED
GUESTS WHO ATTENDED THE SERVICE. REAR ADMIRAL MARK L. TIDD, THE CHIEF OF NAVY CHAPLAINS,
WAS THE GUEST SPEAKER AT THE SERVICE AND SPOKE ON WHAT THE NAVY’S BIRTHDAY MEANS TO SAILORS
AND THEIR FAMILIES. ” WHY HAVE A NAVY WORSHIP SERVICE? WELL, THIS
